Most websites which need to be redesigned fall into 2 categories: Technology Deficient or Structurally Deficient. As technologies change every year, older websites may become inundated because newer more robust technologies create newer functionality. Structurally Deficient Website
The structurally deficient website is one in which the website using table/row format instead of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). When a site has been developed in the table/row format, the website will do its job but it is square and rigid. Through the use of CSS we can form rules to display text, content, images, and logos anywhere we want on the website. The CSS structure allows flexibility for content placement and typography adjustments.
